ABOUT
James J. Craparotta
Chief of Police Ret.
NJ Licensed Private Detective
Serving 36 years in law enforcement, including 10 years as Chief of Police of a New Jersey Accredited Police Agency. I have dedicated my career to serving the public, protecting others, and seeking the truth.

Throughout my career, I gained extensive experience in investigations, interviews, case management, evidence evaluation, report writing, personnel management, and working closely with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations. I have handled complex and sensitive situations where attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism were essential.
Retirement from law enforcement has given me the opportunity to continue my work as a private investigator where I bring the same level of integrity, dedication, and attention to detail to my private investigative work that I brought to my career in law enforcement. I understand that details matter.
Whether you are an individual seeking answers, an attorney requiring investigative assistance, or a business dealing with a sensitive matter, I believe every client deserves to be treated with respect and every investigation deserves to be handled professionally,

I look forward to putting my experience, training, and commitment to service to work for my clients throughout New Jersey.
